Pocket Mine 3 is a mining game by Roofdog Games for iOS and Android, the third game in the Pocket Mine series. You tap blocks to dig down through a mine, set off chain reactions of bombs, dynamite and drills, collect ore and treasure, and reach the idol at the bottom before your pick wears out. Between runs you level up a collection of digger and booster cards, craft and upgrade gear at the blacksmith, and fill a museum with artifacts. It is free to play with optional in-app purchases and rewarded ads.

Overview

Digging

Each mine is a column of blocks. Every tap on a block costs one hit of pick durability; soft dirt breaks in one hit, rock takes more, and crates explode, drill, shock or shuffle the row when they break. Ores drop cash, chests need keys and hold artifacts, monsters lurk in the dark and chip away at your shield. The run ends when you smash the idol at the bottom or your pick breaks. See Gameplay and Blocks.

Diggers and cards

The character you dig with is a digger, each with a special power that charges as you hit blocks. Diggers and boosters are cards: your loadout for a run is a shuffle of one digger and several booster cards, which add explosive crates and other blocks to the mine. Cards level up to 20 and get stronger; past level 10 a card can limit-break into an upgraded form.

Gear

Picks, hats, gloves, boots, amulets and rings are crafted at the blacksmith and upgraded with cash. Every piece rolls digger attributes (pick durability, shield, keys, special-power charge) and, from rare rarity up, powers that trigger in the mine. See Gear and Blacksmith.

Worlds

The adventure runs through dozens of worlds of five levels each, from the Plains to the far reaches of space, each with its own monsters and fifteen artifacts to collect. Every world also has a harder Adventure+ version.

Events and crews

Limited-time events rotate through towers, retro tournaments, artifact hunts, player-versus-player challenges and crew wars. Crews are the game's guilds: chat and compete together. Artifacts are traded with friends.
